Over the past two decades, David Wilner has become one of the most sought after professional disc jockeys in the greater Chicago area. David performs as a master of ceremonies for weddings, corporate events, charity fundraisers, and holiday parties. For many years, David booked events through Sounds Abound Entertainment in Naperville where he also served as an entertainment consultant. Today, David owns and manages his own music production company to give an even greater level of personal service to each of his clients.

I hired David Wilner to help me with my son’s celebration of life ceremony after becoming frustrated by people who either never responded to my request or didn’t have the ability to help me.
David answered me right away and after me listing off all the things I was worried about and needed help with, he said he knew he was the one meant to help. That could not have been more true.
My son was a musician, so a large part of the service was about music, having the proper equipment, running the slideshow and videos of my son singing, playing music after the service was over and setting it all up and taking it down.
David produced the entire thing, bringing his own equipment, meeting me ahead of time to download my slideshow onto his computer, coordinated with 5 singers to organize times for them to practice and get the sound checks handled, played all the music I requested as soon as the service ended while people ate and mingled, the whole thing was seamless and his kind heart was evident in everything he did.
I have so much love and gratitude in my heart for what he did for me, I can’t recommend him highly enough.

David Wilner was everything we could have hoped for in a wedding DJ and more! From the very start, he impressed us with his professionalism and dedication. He met with us twice to meticulously plan every detail, ensuring our day would be exactly as we envisioned.
David took customization to the next level, learning the pronunciations of every name in our wedding party and flawlessly incorporating our unique requests. Beyond just DJing, he provided live sound, and when we needed a last-minute accompanist, he stepped up and backed the bride on piano—his talent on the keys is undeniable.
As an MC, David was outstanding. He hyped up the crowd, hosted games, and kept the energy high throughout the night. His ability to plan the sequence of events was masterful, making sure we got the most out of our limited time without any dull moments.
David also had excellent recommendations for moments we hadn’t even thought of, like cake-cutting and dinner music. And when it came to the dance floor, he was a genius at reading the room. By sequencing genres and eras, he kept all our guests dancing, from young to old.
Even our wedding coordinator was blown away by how good he was—but we weren’t surprised. We knew we had chosen the best! Thank you, David, for making our wedding unforgettable.
